[XXX] [XXX] (NHTSA) The contact owns a 2023 Indian Scout Motorcycle. The contact stated that while riding at an undisclosed speed and attempting to slow the motorcycle to complete a turn, with the rear brake pedal depressed, he became aware that the rear brake was not functioning as needed. As a result of the failure, the contact had to pull to the shoulder of the roadway at a high rate of speed, falling off the motorcycle and causing damages to the motorcycle. No warning lights were illuminated. A Police report was not filed, and no injuries …
