VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION ON A CURVY STREET, IN LANE THAT GOES STRAIGHT WHEN ANOTHER VEHICLE MOVED ABRUPTLY FROM LEFT TURN LANE INTO MY LANE. WHEN I SAW THIS I KNEW I WOULD HIT IT AS THERE WAS INSUFFICIENT SPACE TO BRAKE BEFORE IMPACT.

WHEN PRESSING GAS PEDAL INTO PASSING GEAR THE CAR STAYS IN PASSING GEAR. TACHOMETER SHOWS 5000 RPM AS IF ENGINE IS IS SPEEDING UP BUT CAR SLOWS DOWN WHEN I TAKE MY FOOT OFF GAS PEDDLE AND AND CAR SOUNDS LIKE TRANSMISSION IS STUCK IN LOWER.GEAR. THIS HAS HAPPENED 2 TIMES. I PULL THE CAR OFF ONTO SIDE OF ROAD AND SHUT CAR OFF AFTER APPROXIMATELY 19 MINUTES I RESTART CAR AND CAR GOES BACK TO NORMAL DRIVING. HAPPENS ON HIGHWAY. THE PROBLEM SOUNDS LIKE IT'S THE TRANSMISSION.

TAKATA RECALL - AS A YOUNG DRIVER, I BEING FRIGHTENED OF DRIVING SEEING A YOUNG GIRL KILLED IN A HONDA. HONDA FINANCIAL WAS PAID OFF BY ME IN REGARDS TO MY LOAN, AND THEY HAVE NOT WANTED ANYTHING TO DO WITH ME TO HELP ME WITH THIS SITUATION. I HAVE ENTERED MY VIN NUMBER INTO THE TAKATA RECALL DATABASE, AND MY MOM HAS HELPED ME BY MAKING SEVERAL PHONE CALLS, AND TAKATA REPRESENTATIVES TOOK MY VIN NUMBER FROM MY MOM, AND NEVER BOTHERED TO SEND THE INFORMATION IN WHAT THEY DESCRIBED AS "LONG FORM" - SO UNFORTUNATELY FOR ME I WAS NEVER CONTACTED…

WHEN BOUGHT NEW. IN JUST A FEW DAYS (LOW TIRE WARNING CAME ON) DIDN'T SAY WHAT TIRE, SO I CHECKED ALL OF THEM.NONE CHECKED LOW. DEALER RESET SOMETHING AND STAYED OFF UNTIL TIRE ROTATION THEN IT HAPPEN AGAIN. DEALER RESET AGAIN. NOW IT COMES AFTER STARTING ABOUT 5 TIMES. I KEEP DRIVING BUT WORRY ABOUT THE WARNING MESSAGE, AND THINK IT MAY BE DANGEROUS. CAME ON WHEN STATIONARY AND IN MOTION.

SINCE I BOUGHT THE CAR MY CAR DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY THE CAR STARTS LOSING POWER AND THE ENGINE START SHAKING AND I HAVE TO STOP TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD I TURN OFF ENGINE AND T AND STARTED ENGINE AGAIN AND START THE CAR AGAIN AND GOES BACK TO NORMAL THAT'S MY PROBLEM THERE IS NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT
