VEHICLE HAS TRANSMISSION DEFECT. MERGING INTO TRAFFIC IS VERY DANGEROUS. THE TRANSMISSION OFTEN SELECTS TOO HIGH OF A GEAR AND THERE IS NO POWER FOR THE VEHICLE TO ACCELERATE. THIS PUTS THE DRIVER/PASSENGERS IN DANGER DUE TO ONCOMING TRAFFIC. TL*THE CONTACT IS A MECHANIC WHO WAS PERFORMING WORK ON A 2008 GMC YUKON DENALI. THE CONTACT NOTICED THE CHROME ON ALL FOUR WHEELS WERE DETERIORATING AND LEAVING A POWDERY RESIDUE SUBSTANCE. THE CONSUMER NOTICED THE CHROME WAS PEELING OFF THE RIMS FROM THE INSIDE DUE TO DETERIORATION OF THE ALLOY OF THE RIM. UPDATED 05/10/11

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 GMC YUKON DENALI. THE CONTACT STATED THAT A CHILD WAS SEATED IN THE THIRD ROW SEATING AND ACCIDENTALLY TANGLED THE SEAT BELT AROUND HIS NECK. THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO RELEASE THE SEAT BELT, BUT THE SEAT BELT WAS VERY TIGHT AND WOULD NOT RELEASE. THE CONTACT HAD TO CALL THE AUTHORITIES, WHO APPEARED ON THE SCENE TO CUT THE SEAT BELT LOOSE.
