Owner report 10003370 · 2003-01-25 (January 25, 2003)

COLD WEATHER STALLING WHILE TURNING. WHEN THE OUTSIDE TEMP. IS BELOW TEN DEGREES, THE ENGINE COMPLETELY STOPS WHILE EXECUTING A LOW SPEED HARD RIGHT OR LEFT TURN (SUCH AS ENTERING A DRIVEWAY FROM THE ROADWAY). THIS HAS HAPPENED TWICE-ONCE IN DEC, 2000 AND MOST RECENTLY IN JAN, 2003 (THE ONLY TIMES THE TEMP HAS BEEN BELOW TEN DEGREES SINCE I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE AS NEW). NO MIL LAMPS ILLUMINATE NOR DO THE GAUGES INDICATE A PROBLEM BEFORE OR AFTER THE INCIDENT. FUEL TANK WAS HALF FULL DURING THE MOST RECENT INCIDENT.

Owner report 10078736 · 2004-06-24 (June 24, 2004)

FUEL GAUGE OFTEN READS "EMPTY" WHEN TANK IS COMPLETELY FULL OR AT SOME POSITION MIDWAY BETWEEN FULL AND EMPTY. I HAVE NO WAY OF KNOWING FOR SURE WHAT THE ACTUAL LEVEL OF FUEL IS BECAUSE THE GAGE JUMPS OVER THE FULL RANGE OF POSITIONS WHILE DRIVING. OTHER FRIENDS TELL ME THEY EXPERIENCE THE SAME PROBLEM WITH THE FUEL GAUGE.*AK

Owner report 10139425 · 2005-10-12 (October 12, 2005)

GM RECALL NO. 05068 IS LIMITED TO CERTAIN STATES. MY VEHICLE IS ONE OF THOSE LISTED IN THE VIN RANGE, BUT I NOW LIVE IN WISCONSIN, I HAVE NOT BEEN NOTIFIED. THE TRUCK HAS THE PROBLEM AND UP UNTIL JULY OF THIS YEAR HAD A MICHIGAN TITLE. BY ALLOWING GM TO LIMIT THE RECALL TO CERTAIN STATES PEOPLE LIKE ME FALL THROUGH THE CRACKS AND MIGHT BE HARMED. I AM UNEMPLOYED AND CANNOT AFFORD TO PAY FOR THE FIX OUTRIGHT. *JB

Owner report 10139664 · 2005-10-14 (October 14, 2005)

DT: THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 GMC 1500 SUPER CAB. THE CONTACT COMPLAINED ABOUT BRAKE PROBLEM PROBLEMS A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO. ON 10-13-05 IT STARTED GETTING REAL BAD. WHEN COMING TO A COMPLETE STOP THE PEDAL PULSATED, AND THEN GOT VERY HARD, AND WOULD NOT MOVE. THIS HAPPENS ONLY AT LOW SPEEDS, AND WHEN COMING TO A STOP. ON 10-13-05 GOODYEAR REPLACED BOTH REAR ROTORS AND PUT NEW BRAKE PADS ON THE REAR. THE DEALER PULLED UP RECALL 00V0550000 AND TOLD THE CONTACT THAT IF THE RECALL HAD NHTSA ON IT HE WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR THE REPAIRS. IN AD…

Owner report 10141638 · 2005-11-03 (November 3, 2005)

GMC PICK UP TRUCK WINDOW LIFT SYSTEM FAILURE. THE CABLES ON BOTH WINDOW HAVE BROKEN ON MY TRUCK. THE TRUCK IS A 2000 WITH 50,000 MILES ON IT. THIS SHOULD NOT HAPPEN THAT SOON. THE COST TO FIX THIS IS JUST UNDER $300.00 PER DOOR. I HAVE A GM CAR WITH 231000 MILES ON IT AND THE POWER WINDOWS STILL WORK IT IS A 1994. *JB
