On [XXX] I was I came out of a store and made a right turn to enter onto a very very busy bustling street. As I tried to accelerate, my car had absolutely no acceleration and just stopped. 2024 GV70 makes loud noise (whirling, whoosing type) at highways speeds 65-70 mph. Noise was present immediately after purchase, intermittently, and became more constant but only at highway speeds. At first it sounded like it may be coming from under car, but localized to top of car sunroof area after some months. Dealer uncooperative about repairs. Inspected three times with no current resolution, although the tech agreed on test drive he did hear the noise complaint at highway speeds.

Car as purchased new has a loud downing sound that makes it difficult to hear traffic around you. When it happens, it scares the crap out of you. This could lead to an accident. Would like to add video to show how un-safe it it.

The passenger side sideview mirror of my vehicle folds to a closing position while the vehicle is in motion. This has occurred a few times today creating a safety hazard for the occupants of my vehicle and other drivers as I have lost visibility on that side of the vehicle while on the road. I have re-opened the mirror and after a few mins it closes up on its own again. Upon contacting the dealer, they informed me that they don't have any available appointments until 11/15. Pulling out of parking lot onto street and car would not accelerate beyond 10 miles a hr Pedal was to the floor and didn't change speed. Read on forum this is a known issue. Possibly fuel issue. No DTC code is issued. Dealer could not replicate, which I read on forum was known. Worried about this happening again or on highway.

Both of my front headlights get condensation to the point of droplets every time it rains, or I go through the car wash. My car is a 2024. Genesis has implied that it is "normal" after I contacted my dealer in Richmond, Virginia. I am retired, so I don't usually drive a night. Would having fogged out lens degrade the performance of my headlights? I'm [XXX] and owned many cars. This is the first brand new car that has had this issue. It should be noted that the lens do clear up after the sun hits them for a few days. My car is not garaged…

I moved my Genesis GV-70 to my home in Reno, NV. My complaint is in regard to my car becoming very dangerous! I'm giving you my move to Reno because its relevant to this complaint. I didn't need quick acceleration while I was living in Florida. In Reno, I have to merge onto Route 80 everywhere that I go. Acceleration during a merger is extremely important here in Reno. Reported: 2024-03-15 (March 15, 2024)
Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain 2024 Genesis GV70 vehicles. Water may leak into the transmission control harness, which can cause a short circuit and unexpectedly shift the transmission from Park to Neutral.
Consequence: An unexpected shift from Park to Neutral can cause a vehicle roll away and increase the risk of a crash or injury.
Remedy: Owners are advised to turn off the ignition and use the emergency parking brake after parking their vehicles. Dealers will inspect the transmission control harness and repair the connector, or replace the harness and internal wiring, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 9, 2024. Owners may contact Hyundai customer service at 1-855-371-9460. Hyundai's number for this recall is 020G.

Reported: 2026-04-10 (April 10, 2026)
Hyundai Motor America (Genesis) is recalling certain Genesis 2022-2026 GV70, 2023-2025 G90, 2021-2025 G80, and GV80 vehicles. Fuel may leak at the pipe connection between the fuel pipe and fuel rail.
Consequence: A fuel leak increases the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and tighten, or replace the fuel pipe as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed beginning July 20, 2026. Owners may contact Genesis customer service at 844-340-9741. Genesis' number for this recall is 033G. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall became searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning April 11, 2026.
