THE METAL SHEATHING OF THE PARKING BRAKE CABLE CAN SEPARATE ALLOWING THE INNER LOAD BEARING CABLE TO PULL THROUGH THE HOUSING, RELAXING CABLE TENSION AND RELEASING THE PARKING BRAKE.
Consequence: RELEASING THE PARKING BRAKE WITHOUT OPERATOR INTENT CANCAUSE VEHICLE ROLLAWAY AND RESULT IN A VEHICLE ACCIDENT.
Remedy: REPLACE THE PARKING BRAKE CABLE.

THE FRONT WHEEL BEARINGS WERE NOT ADEQUATELY GREASED.
Consequence: INADEQUATE GREASE IN THE FRONT WHEEL BEARINGS CAN CAUSEEARLY FAILURE OF THE BEARING. IF THE OUTER WHEEL BEARING FAILS WHILE THE VEHICLEIS IN MOTION, THE WHEEL CAN SEPARATE FROM THE VEHICLE, CAUSING LOSS OF VEHICLECONTROL AND AN ACCIDENT.
Remedy: REMOVE, CLEAN, AND GREASE FRONT WHEEL BEARINGS AND HUBS.
