Owner report 11415376 ยท 2021-05-06 (May 6, 2021)
TIRE BLEW OUT. TRAILER WAS LESS THAN A YEAR OLD. CHECK AIR PRESSURE EACH TRIP AND USE IT ONCE A MONTH, SO NOT SITTING TOO LONG. TRAILER GVWR IS WHAT THE 4 TIRES CARRIED AND THE ESTIMATED TONGUE WEIGHT ADDED TOGETHER. SHOULD HAVE HIGHER RATED TIRES FOR SAFETY MARGIN. BEEN READING ONLINE ABOUT MANY OF THESE TIRES BLOWING OUT. THE BLOW OUT OCCURRED ON I 10 RETURNING FROM A CAMP OUT ON A STRAIGHT SECTION NEAR US 301. I WAS TRAVELING ABOUT 65 IN THE RIGHT LANE. SUDDEN BOOM AND I PULLED OVER TO INVESTIGATE.
