UPON RETURNING HOME FROM A SHORT CAMPING TRIP WITH FRIENDS I NOTICED THAT THE TIRES ON THE "WOLF PUP" TRAVEL TRAILER WERE SHOWING EXTREME WEAR ON ONE SIDE, AND THAT THEY WERE LEANING OUTWARD FROM THE VEHICLE (APPROX. 700 TOTAL MILEAGE ON THE TRAVEL TRAILER) . AFTER RESEARCH ON FORESTRIVERFORUMS.COM, I DISCOVERED THAT A MANY NEW OWNERS HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING "BENT AXLE" PROBLEMS. FOREST RIVER AND LIPPERT (THE AXLE MANUFACTURER) HAVE REPLACED AXLES ON THESE WOLF PUPS, BUT OWNERS SAY THAT THEY'VE HAD TO RETURN A NUMBER OF TIMES (3 TO 4 TIMES…

AFTER I PURCHASED THIS TRAILER (USED IN 2014), I NOTICED TIRE WEAR ON THE INSIDES OF BOTH WHEELS ON THIS SINGLE AXLE. FURTHER EXAMINATION LEAD ME TO NOTICE THE AXLE WAS BENT ON ONE SIDE. I GOT ON THIS WEB SITE AND NOTICED ANOTHER COMPLAINT ABOUT THIS PROBLEM DUE TO THE WRONG TYPE OF AXLE USED FOR THIS MODEL. I HAD THE TIRES ALIGNED AND REPLACED THEM WITH NEW GOODYEAR TIRES, BUT THE AXLE IS STILL BENT. WAITING TO SEE IF THE ALIGNMENT CURES THE PROBLEM.
