TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2019 FOREST RIVER GEORGETOWN. THE DRIVER'S SIDE WINDOW SLID FORWARD WITHOUT WARNING. WHILE EXITING THE RV, THE DOOR LOCKED AUTOMATICALLY. ADDITIONALLY, THE BED FAILED TO RISE TO THE CORRECT HEIGHT. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT MOLDING WAS PEELING. Owners of a 2020 Georgetown GT Series 34H5 reported cracks at the welds and at the 90 degree bend in the rear (right when facing) propane tank mounting bracket. This is an ASME tank that I believe can contain 19.5 actual gallons of propane. There were also reports on the Georgetown RV Owners Group on Facebook of cracks in the welds on the front propane bracket. The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-53 Motorhome. The contact stated that when retrieving the vehicle from the independent dealer for regular service, when driving it was observed that the rear window was missing. The contact then called the independent dealer to confirm if the window was there, however, it was not. The contact drove the vehicle back to an independent dealer where they glued the window. Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2018-2019 Forest River FR3 and Georgetown recreational vehicles. The entry door latch may not engage fully, allowing the door to open unexpectedly while moving.

Consequence: If the entry door opens unexpectedly, it can increase the risk of injury.

Remedy: Forest River will notify owners and dealers will install shims between the entry door frame and the wall frame, two additional screws will be added through the entry door frame to secure the door frame to the sidewall frame and will verify that the entry door latch pawl is properly contacting the striker bolt, if required the dealer will adjust the striker bolt, at no charge to the owner. Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2017-2019 Forest River Georgetown and FR3 motorhomes, 2018-2019 Berkshire motorhomes and 2018 Charleston motorhomes. The motorized windshield roller shade at the driver's seating position may unroll without warning while driving.

Consequence: If the windshield roller shade unrolls while driving, it could block the driver's visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will install a fastener to ensure the motor will not allow the shade to roll down during while driving. The recall began November 28, 2018. Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2019 Georgetown motorhomes. The front overhead bunk latch board may be insufficiently secured and may fall while the vehicle is in motion.

Consequence: If the bunk latch board falls while the vehicle is being driven, it can increase the risk of injury and crash.

Remedy: Forest River has notified owners, and dealers will additionally secure the bunk latch board, free of charge. The recall began March 18, 2019. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-206-7600. Forest River's number for this recall is 68-0978.

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2019-2020 Georgetown and FR3 motorhomes. The slim-rack slide out mechanisms may activate unintentionally, moving the slide room in or out unexpectedly.

Consequence: If the slide-room extends or retracts unexpectedly, there is an increased risk of injury.

Remedy: Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will provide a new controller and switch for the slideout mechanism, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin July 31, 2019. Owners may contact Forest River at 1-574-206-7600. Forest River's number for this recall is 68-0991.

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2019-2020 Georgetown GTA34H5F motorhomes. The rubber liquid propane (LP) gas line may have been improperly routed against the metal burner chamber of the refrigerator.

Consequence: If the LP line contacts the burner assembly, the hose may melt, causing a gas leak, increasing the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will reroute the LP line away from the burn chamber, free of charge. The recall began February 19, 2020. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-206-7600. Forest River's number for this recall is 68-1125.

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2015-2017 Coachmen Cross Country, 2015 Coachmen Encore, 2016-2020 Coachmen Mirada, 2018-2021 Coachmen Sportscoach, 2019-2021 Forest River Berkshire, 2011-2016 Forest River Blue Ridge, 2014-2019 Forest River Cardinal, 2014-2020 Forest River Cedar Creek, 2014-2021 Forest River Georgetown, 2019 Forest River Legacy, and 2017-2018 Forest River Riverstone recreational vehicles equipped with Hehr 6400 Series windows. The adhesive that bonds the vented portion of the window may fail.

Consequence: Adhesive failure may cause the vent portion of the window to detach, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect the windows, and replace the vent if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 2, 2021. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-825-8600. Forest River's number for this recall is 51-1380.

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2019-2024 Georgetown and FR3 Class A motorhomes. The liquid petroleum gas (LPG) tank mounting brackets may break, which can result in the LPG tank becoming dislodged and damaged.

Consequence: A damaged LPG tank increases the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the brackets and welds as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 11, 2024. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-574-206-7600. Forest River's number for this recall is 68-1736.
