INSTRUMENT CLUSTER IS BLANK UPON START-UP. THIS VEHICLE SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN THE NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER 19V076000. AT VEHICLE START-UP, THE INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER ASSEMBLY SOMETIMES MISFUNCTIONS AND SHOWS A BLANK DISPLAY. THIS HAS HAPPENED 3 TIMES SINCE I HAVE OWNED MY CAR FOR ONLY 1 MONTH. THIS CAR WAS PURCHASED ON 4/27/19 BRAND NEW WITH 3 MILES ON IT. AS I WAS DRIVING ON 4/29/19 IT WAS RAINING AND AS IT BEGAN TO RAIN HARDER, I ADJUSTED THE INTERVAL ON THE WIPER SWITCH TO A HIGHER SPEED AND THE WIPERS SHUT OFF AND DID NOT COME BACK ON. WHILE DRIVING MY GT350 ON A HIGHWAY AT AROUND 55 MPH THE ENGINE MADE METALLIC GRINDING NOISES SUDDENLY, AND WITHOUT WARNING. I INSTINCTIVELY PRESSED IN THE CLUTCH PEDAL AND THEN ENGINE STOPPED SPINNING AND LOCKED UP. I WAS FORTUNATE TO BE IN AN AREA WITH A PULL-OFF AREA AND THIN TRAFFIC. I PURCHASED A NEW 2019 FORD MUSTANG ECOBOOST ON OCTOBER 16, 2019, SINCE DAY ONE THE GEAR SHIFT SELECT LEVER HAS NOT BEEN LIGHTING UP AT NIGHT TO SHOW ME WHICH GEAR I AM IN. IT DOES NOT ILLUMINATE AT ALL. I BELIEVE IT IS UNSAFE, ESPECIALLY BECAUSE IF I HAPPEN TO BUMP THE SHIFT LEVER, I AM UNABLE TO SEE WHICH GEAR I AM IN AND COULD CAUSE AN ACCIDENT.

RIDING UNDER NORMAL DRIVING CONDITIONS, CAR STALLS FROM A V8 TO A V2. NO POWER AT ALL, IF YOU WANT TO SWITCH FROM NORMAL, TO ANY SELECTABLE DRIVING MODES FROM TOGGLE SWITCH OR STEERING WHEEL, WONT CHANGE. TURN OF CAR, TURN IT BACK ON AND CONTINUED WITH SAME PROBLEM.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2019 Ford Mustang, Lincoln Nautilus, and Lincoln Navigator vehicles. At vehicle start-up, the Instrument Panel Cluster Assembly (IPC) may not function, showing a blank display. As a result, these vehicles fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 101, "Controls and Displays."

Consequence: A blank instrument cluster will not show important information like vehicle speed, fuel or temperature level, or safety system warnings. Driving with an inoperative cluster can increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Ford has notified owners, and dealers will reprogram the Instrument Panel Cluster Assembly (IPC), free of charge. The recall began March 8, 2019. Owners may contact customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 19C03.

Reported: 2020-05-08 (May 8, 2020)

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2019 Expedition and 2019-2020 Mustang vehicles. The "Transmission Not In Park" warning message and associated chime duration are shorter than intended.

Consequence: If the driver exits the vehicle without the transmission being shifted into park, unintended vehicle movement may result, increasing the risk of injury or crash.

Remedy: Ford will notify owners, and dealers will reprogram the instrument cluster, free of charge. The recall began May 26, 2020. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 20S21.

Reported: 2022-05-27 (May 27, 2022)

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2019-2020 Mustang vehicles equipped with 5.0L engines and manual transmissions. The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) may broadcast an unintended faulted signal to the modules controlling the reverse camera, reverse light, and driver assist features, which may disable all of these functions.

Consequence: A rearview camera or reverse light that is disabled reduces the driver's rear view, increasing the risk of a crash. Disabled driver assist features (traction control, forward collision warning, blind spot warning, cross traffic indicator) may increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will update the PCM software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 15, 2022. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 22S37.

Reported: 2025-06-27 (June 27, 2025)

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2018-2022 Transit Connect, 2019-2020 MKZ, MKX, Edge, Continental, F-150, Nautilus, Fusion, 2019-2023 Ranger, Mustang, 2020-2021 EcoSport, Expedition, Navigator, 2020-2022 Escape, F-250 SD, Corsair, 2020-2023 Aviator, Transit, 2020-2024 Explorer, 2021-2024 Bronco Sport, and 2022-2024 Maverick vehicles. A software error may cause the rearview camera to display a blank image, or the image may remain on the display after the backing event has ended.

Consequence: A rearview camera that displays a blank image can reduce the driver's view behind the vehicle. A rearview image that continues to be displayed after the vehicle is shifted out of reverse may distract the driver. Both of these situations can increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will update the rearview camera software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 4, 2025. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25S72.

Reported: 2025-09-03 (September 3, 2025)

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2015-2019 Lincoln MKC, Mustang, F-350 SD, F-250 SD, F-450 SD, 2015-2017 Lincoln Navigator, Expedition, 2015-2018 Edge, Transit Connect, 2016-2019 F-550 SD, Transit, 2017-2019 Econoline, and 2019 Ranger vehicles. The rearview camera may display a distorted, inverted, or blank image when the vehicle is in reverse.

Consequence: A rearview camera that displays an inverted, distorted, or blank image can reduce the driver’s view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the rearview camera as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 13, 2026. Ford owners will receive letters in phases, beginning January 2026 and June 2026. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25S89.
