HOLLEY SELLS CARBURETORS AND FUEL RELATED SYSTEM COMPONENTS. I HAVE HAD 2 ISSUES. ISSUE 1 RELATES TO FORD PART NUMBER C9AF-9510-U CARBURETOR (MFR IS HOLLEY). I PURCHASED A REBUILD KIT FROM HOLLEY AND IT WAS SUPPLIED WITH A NEW ACCELERATOR PUMP DIAPHRAGM. THIS DIAPHRAGM IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH GASOLINE BEING SOLD TODAY. THE NEW DIAPHRAGM FAILED WITHIN 3 WEEKS DUE TO THE CHEMICAL ATTACK OF THE ETHANOL IN TODAY'S FUEL. YOU CAN NOW SEE LIGHT THROUGH THE NEW DIAPHRAGM. ISSUE 2: HOLLEY ALSO SELLS A FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR # 12-803BP. I HAVE HAD…

WAS TRAVELING ABOUT 65MPH ON HIGHWAY AND FELT A SHAKE. ALSO, HEARD A KNOCKING NOISE INSIDE OF VEHICLE. HE WAS ABLE TO PULL OVER TO SHOULDERS, AND NOTICED THAT PASSENGER'S FRONT TIRE TREAD SEPARATED. B.F.GOODRICH RADIAL TA, P21560R14, #DOTBET7 4C1407. DEALERSHIP WAS AWARE OF PROBLEM. *AK CONSUMER STATES THAT VEHICLE PULLED TO THE RIGHT WHEN TREAD SEPARATION OCCURRED AND THERE WAS DAMAGE DONE TO VEHICLE. *SLC

Remedy: THE DEALER WILL REPLACE THE DRIVER"S SEAT PIVOT PIN BRACKET ON ALL AFFECTED VEHICLES, FREE OF CHARGE.
