WHILE DRIVING OUR DRV MOBILE SUITES 5TH WHEEL TRAILER HOME FROM OCEAN CITY MARYLAND WE NOTICED THAT THE FRONT HYDRAULIC LEVELERS WERE LEAKING DOWN. WE PULLED OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND USED THE CONTROL PAD TO RETRACT THEM BACK UP. WE PROCEEDED DOWN THE ROAD AND AT LEAST 7 OR 8 TIMES DURING OUR 2 HOUR ROAD TRIP WE HAD TO STOP AND RETRACT THE FRONT HYDRAULIC LEVELERS. ON THE LAST THREE TIMES ONE OF THE LEVELERS WAS ALL THE WAY DOWN TOUCHING THE ROAD REALLY SCARING US TO THE POINT WHERE WE CALLED OUR DRV DEALER AND SEE IF IT WAS SAFE TO D…

OUR LIPPERT (LCI) LEVEL UP FRONT LEVELING LEGS ARE LEAKING DOWN 1" EVERY TWO DAYS. THEY HAVE ALSO STARTED CREEPING DOWN AS WE TRAVEL DOWN THE ROAD (IN MOTION) WHICH IS A SAFETY HAZARD. THEY HAVE ALSO DROPPED ABOUT HALF WAY DOWN WHILE THE RV WAS STATIONARY AND HAD ONE OF US BEEN UNDER THE FRONT WE WOULD HAVE BEEN INJURED OR KILLED. The contact owns a 2016 DRV Mobile Suite. The contact stated that after reading an article on Facebook, he discovered that owners of similar model trailers had reported a cracked subframe. Upon inspection of his trailer, he also discovered that the frame on his trailer was also cracked. The dealer was notified of the failure and sent a service tech to repair the subframe. The contact also drove the trailer to the manufacturer where additional repairs were made to secure the subframe. Despite the repair, the contact noted that he was uncomfortab…

Reported: 2016-12-23 (December 23, 2016)
DRV Suites (DRV) is recalling certain model year 2016-2017 Elite Suites and Mobile Suites fifth wheel recreational trailers manufactured January 29, 2016, to November 14, 2016. The brake caliper bolts may loosen, causing a loss of braking capability.
Consequence: A loss of braking capability can increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy: DRV has notified owners, and dealers will replace the caliper bolts and sleeves using a thread adhesive, free of charge. The recall began on January 11, 2017. Owners may contact DRV customer service at 1-260-562-3500. DRV's number for this recall is 99.02.08.

DRV Suites (DRV) is recalling certain 2007-2018 Elite Suites, 2014-2018 Full House, 2003-2018 Mobile Suites, 2010-2018 Mobile Suite Estates, 2006-2012 Select Suite, 2013-2016 Tradition, and 2017 Travel Suites recreational vehicles, equipped with certain Kidde Plastic-Handle or Push Button 'Pindicator' Fire Extinguishers. These extinguishers may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or excessive force may be needed to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the product inoperable. Consequence: In the event of a fire, if the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury.
Remedy: DRV will notify owners, instructing them to contact Kidde for a replacement fire extinguisher, free of charge. The recall began on January 15, 2018.
