TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 COUNTRY COACH ALLURE. THE VEHICLE HAS TOYO TIRES, SIZE 275/70R M102Z (NA). THE CONTACT EXPERIENCED THREE BLOWOUTS WITH THREE OF THE SIX TIRES ON HIS MOTOR HOME. ALL THREE BLOWOUTS WERE APPROXIMATELY ONE TO TWO MONTHS APART. HE WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH WHEN HE NOTICED THE BLOWOUTS. NO CRASH OCCURRED. HE INSPECTED THE TIRES AND NOTICED THAT THEY APPEARED TO HAVE EXPLODED AND BARELY ANYTHING REMAINED IN THE TIRES. THE CONTACT REPLACED ALL SIX TIRES AT THE COST OF $263 PER TIRE. HE RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE…

Reported: 2006-07-13 (July 13, 2006)

COUNTRY COACH HAS REPORTED THAT THE TOYO 275/70R M102Z TIRES ON CERTAIN MOTOR HOMES ARE DEFECTIVE AND COULD FAIL UNEXPECTEDLY.

Consequence: THIS COULD CAUSE A LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.

Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE THESE TIRES WITH MICHELIN 275/70R XZA2 TIRES. THE FEDERAL TIRE LABELS WILL ALSO BE REPLACED. THE RECALL BEGAN ON NOVEMBER 8, 2006. OWNERS MAY CONTACT COUNTRY COACH AT 1-800-547-8015.

07V031000 · Equipment:Recreational Vehicle/Trailer

Reported: 2007-02-01 (February 1, 2007)

CERTAIN MOTOR HOMES EQUIPPED WITH A TWO-DOOR REFRIGERATOR, MANUFACTURED BY THE DOMETIC CORPORATION, MAY HAVE A DEFECT IN THE BOILER TUBE. PRESSURIZED COOLANT SOLUTION COULD BE RELEASED INTO AN AREA WHERE AN IGNITION SOURCE (GAS FLAME) IS PRESENT.

Consequence: RELEASE OF COOLANT UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS COULD IGNITE AND RESULT IN A FIRE.

Remedy: COUNTRY COACH WILL BE WORKING WITH DOMETIC IN ORDER TO REPAIR THESE REFRIGERATORS (PLEASE SEE 06E076). A SECONDARY BURNER HOUSING WILL BE INSTALLED FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON MARCH 28, 2007. OWNERS MAY CONTACT DOMETIC/STERICYCLE AT 1-888-446-5157 OR COUNTRY COACH AT 1-800-452-8015.
