Going at speeds 60-70, transmission slips and is jerky, pulsating symptoms. Unsure if transmission slipping or brake malfunction. Going at speeds lower, very hard gear shifts. Using adaptive cruise control at speeds 60-70, car slammed on brakes for no apparent reason and remained using the break, would let off (clear and wide open in front of me).

I was in a car accident where all of my airbags deployed. The seat airbag deployed, and the deflation vents were facing me. It melted my polyester shirt into me and burned my the skin across my ribs on my left side (nearest to the door). I was not aware of the location of the vents in the airbag until during the accident. This could be an issue for shorter people, who might have the airbags deploy closer to their face. I went to the hospital for the pain I was feeling in my ribs and difficulty breathing (some of which came from this airbag).

The contact owns a 2024 Chevrolet Trax. The contact stated that while activating the air conditioner, the front windshield fogged up impairing his vision. The vehicle was taken to the dealer to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that there was an excessive amount of condensation while activating the HVAC system. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact was informed by the dealer that the failure had been reported by other Chevrolet Trax owners. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 200.

This vehicle is programmed to shut off, if the driver leaves the vehicle with the key fob, after 15 minutes. This is very dangerous. I left my pet in the car, in the Florida sun, with the air conditioner running, while I stepped into a store briefly. When I got back to the car, I was surprised to discover my car had shut off. My pet was in a black SUV, in the Florida sun, without air. I researched the owner's manual. The owner's manual indicates the vehicle is designed to turn off, in this situation. The contact stated that the doors closed independently if there was a slight wind or if the vehicle was parked on a slight incline with front of the vehicle pointed toward the incline. 23V744000 · Electrical System: Instrument Cluster/Panel
Reported: 2023-11-06 (November 6, 2023)
General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2024 Buick Encore GX, Envista, and Chevrolet Trax vehicles. The software in the Virtual Cockpit Unit Module (VCU) may cause the instrument panel display to intermittently go blank at vehicle startup or while driving.
Consequence: A blank instrument panel will not show critical information, such as vehicle speed and warning lights, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: The VCU software will be updated by a dealer or through an over-the-air (OTA) update, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 4, 2023. Owners may contact Buick customer service at 1-800-521-7300 or Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020. GM's number for this recall is A232424320.
