REAR PASSENGER TREAD DELAMINATED FROM TIRE WHILE TRAVELING AT SPEED LIMIT ON FREEWAY. VEHICLE PULLED OVER TO SIDE OF ROAD. THE TIRE WAS COMPLETELY INFLATED...JUST THE TREAT HAD SEPERATED FROM TIRE CAUSING MAJOR DAMAGE TO VEHICLE. HAD NOT RUN OVER ANYTHING IN ROADWAY TO CAUSE THIS EVENT.....LOOKED UP ROAD AND FOUND SAFER AND WIDER SPOT TO CHANGE TIRE....IN PROCESS OF SLOWLY APPROACHING OTHER AREA.....TIRE EXPLODED. TIRE WAS NOT AT HOT TEMPERATURE. THIS APPEARS TO BE A TIRE DEFECT.*AK
