I OWN A 1999 CHEVROLET 2500 HD 4X4. THE ABS LIGHT AND BRAKE LIGHT WILL STAY ON WHEN THE ABS MODULE GOES OUT. THIS IS A SAFETY PROBLEM AND ONE THAT IS WIDELY KNOWN ON ANY OF THE CHEVROLET FORUMS ON THE WEB. I BOUGHT THE TRUCK TO TOW A TRAILER WITH MY FAMILY, NOW KNOWING THIS SAFETY ISSUE HAS NOT BEEN TAKEN CARE OF BY GM AND A RECALL STARTED I AM NOT GOING TO PUT MY 2 KIDS SAFETY IN JEAPARDY. I WOULD HOPE THAT A MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR COMPANY LIKE GM COULD AND WOULD LOOK OUT FOR THE SAFETY OF THEIR CUSTOMERS. THEY HAVE NO PROBLEM TAKING THE $80…
