CADILLIAC 2019 XT4 WHITE IN COLOR BRAND NEW TIRES AND RIMS ..ENGINE BLEW UP WHILE TRAVELING TO A PARTY WITH MY GIRLFRIENDS OUTTA TOWN. IT WAS REALLY BAD...BUT WE STILL HAD A GREAT TIME. WE HAD IT TOWED AT NO EXPENSE BY A GUY WE MET WHILE ON THE INTERSTATE HE HELPED US TO SAFETY AND TOWED THE BROKEN CADILLAC TO A REPAIR SHOP FOR REPAIR HOWEVER THE REPAIR GUY SAID IT WAS UNREPAIRABLE DUE TO THE DAMAGES THAT OCCURRED. The wiring in the Cadillac is soy based and squirrels have ate the wires out of my engine three times. It makes the steering compromised and unsafe. The warning comes up drive with caution steering compromised. Not exact but you get the jest

On 03/16/2022 I was pulling away from my driveway on flat even pavement. As I accelerated the side curtain airbags malfunctioned and inflated.. there is no damage to the vehicle, and the report sent from onstage immediately following shows all information modules show no issues. We sent the vehicle to the dealership they have given us the run around for over a month and now say their finding doesn't merit fixing issue and I can transfer my claim from "faulty part" to warranty department "Only side curtain airbags deployed" both sides

RECALL for repair of Back UP Camera because it intermittently stops working. XT4 has been taken in TWICE for this recall January and February of 2023. The camera continues to intermittently stop working. This problem needs to be resolved in order for vehicle to operate safely.

During the two winter seasons I owned the Cadillac XT4 the Stabilitrack feature of the car malfunctioned every time it freezes outside and the check engine light came in. It was still under warranty and it was repaired last year at Foley Cadillac in Northbrook, IL and this year the light came on again warning of a malfunction of the same issue and I called to make an. The contact owns a 2020 Cadillac XT4. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, she heard an abnormal popping sound coming from an unknown location. Additionally, there was a screeching sound coming from the brakes. No warning lights were illuminated. I have a 2020 cadillac xt4. When I first purchased the car in 2021, it already needed a new battery. Since owning the vehicle, I've had to change the battery two times already with 3 years. When I go to start the car (push start) sometimes the car wouldn't turn over or turn on and my dash board would illuminate stating service stabilitrak. Sometimes it would take like 5-8 tries before the car turned on. 20V588000 · Service Brakes
Reported: 2020-09-24 (September 24, 2020)
General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2020 Chevrolet Corvette and Cadillac CT4, CT5 and XT4, 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer, and 2020-2021 Buick Encore GX vehicles. Sensor connection contamination in the electronic brake boost system may cause an interruption of communication between the sensor and the brake boost system.
Consequence: If communication with the sensor is interrupted, the electronic brake boost assist could be lost. Extra pedal force will be required to slow and stop the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will replace the electronic brake boost module, free of charge. The recall began December 9, 2020. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-630-2438, Cadillac customer service at 1-800-333-4223, or Buick customer service at 1-800-521-7300. GM's number for this recall is A202307260.

General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2018-2019 Chevrolet Cruze and Buick LaCrosse, 2018-2020 Chevrolet Equinox, Chevrolet Traverse and GMC Terrain, 2018 Chevrolet Malibu, 2019-2020 Buick Encore, Buick Enclave, Cadillac XT4, Chevrolet Blazer and GMC Acadia, and 2020 Cadillac XT6 vehicles. The start/stop accumulator endcap may have missing bolts.
Consequence: Missing bolts on the start-stop accumulator endcap could result in a transmission oil leak and may progress to a loss of propulsion, increasing the risk of a crash. A transmission fluid leak in the presence of an ignition source may increase the risk of fire.
Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the start-stop transmission accumulator and replace it if any bolts are missing, free of charge. The recall began December 15, 2020. Owners may contact GMC customer service at 1-888-988-7267, Buick Customer service at 1-866-608-8080, Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020 or Cadillac customer service at 1-800-458-8006. General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2020 Buick Enclave, Cadillac XT4, XT5, Escalade, Escalade ESV, Chevrolet Suburban, Tahoe, Traverse, GMC Yukon, Yukon XL, 2018-2021 Chevrolet Express, GMC Savana, 2019-2020 Chevrolet Blazer, Silverado 1500, GMC Acadia, Sierra 1500, and certain Continental tires sold to the aftermarket for various model year 2018-2021 vehicles. The affected tires were cured for too long during production.
Consequence: Over cured tires may develop a break in the sidewall resulting in sudden air loss or a belt edge separation which could lead to a tread/belt loss. Either condition can cause a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the tires, replacing them as necessary, free of charge. The recall began March 22, 2021. Owners may contact GMC customer service at 1-888-988-7267, Buick customer service at 1-866-608-8080, Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020 or Cadillac customer service at 1-800-458-8006. Reported: 2021-08-20 (August 20, 2021)
General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2016-2021 Chevrolet Malibu and 2019-2021 Cadillac XT4 vehicles. The rear seat belt retractors may be improperly secured with loose or missing fasteners.
Consequence: An improperly secured seat belt retractor may not function properly in a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and tighten the rear seat belt retractors, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on September 17, 2021. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020 and Cadillac customer service at 1-800-458-8006. GM's number for this recall is N212333380.

Reported: 2022-11-23 (November 23, 2022)
General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2019-2020 Cadillac XT4 vehicles equipped with the optional Surround Vision feature. The video processing module (VPM) may lose communication with the rearview camera, causing a loss of the rearview camera image.
Consequence: Failure of the rearview camera image to display can reduce the driver's rear visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will update the VPM software or replace the VPM, as necessary, free of charge. An interim owner notification letter informing owners of the safety defect was mailed January 17, 2023. Owner notification letters were mailed February 3, 2023. Owners may contact Cadillac customer service at 1-800-458-8006. GM's number for this recall is N222373320. .
