JUST DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD ( ABOUT 40 MPH ) I HEARD WHAT SOUNDED LIKE THE MUFFLER FALLING OFF THE CAR WITH A BANG AND THE CAR MOVING ODDLY AND HEARING A METAL NOISE. I FOUND IT TO BE THE VERY REAR CROSSMENBER ( THE ONE BEFORE THE REAR BUMPER ) HAD FALLEN OFF. I HAVE DONE WELDING FOR OVER THIRTY YEARS THIS WAS NOT WELDED PROPERLY. THE CAR HAS BEEN IN A GARAGE FROM DAY ONE AND MY MOM IS THE ONLY OWNER. THE PAINT AND UNDERCARRIAGE IS LIKE NEW! ( NO RUST AND ALL MAINTENACE HAS BEEN DONE ) IF SOMEONE ELSE HAD BEEN DRIVING THEY MAY HAVE LOST CONTROL …

LIMOUSINE FAILED TO MEET STOPPING DISTANCE REQUIREMENTS OF FMVSS 105.
Consequence: INCREASED STOPPING DISTANCE COULD RESULT IN AN ACCIDENT;VEHICLES DO NOT COMPLY WITH FMVSS 105.
Remedy: REPLACE ORIGINAL REAR WHEEL BRAKE CYLINDER WITH A LARGER CYLINDER.

Remedy: REPLACE ORIGINAL 1" REAR WHEEL BRAKE CYLINDER WITH A 1 1/16" CYLINDER.
