Owner report 11340104 · 2020-07-18 (July 18, 2020)
THE PAST TWO WEEKS WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE, IT SUDDENLY TURNS OFF AND THE BRAKE LIGHT COMES ON FOR THE EMERGENCY BRAKE. IT IS SO SCARY WHEN DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND MY VEHICLE SUDDENLY STOPS. I HAVE TO PUT IT BACK IN PARK AND TRY TO GET THE EMERGENCY BRAKE OFF. IT TAKES A BIT TO GET IT OFF. THEN I CAN START IT AGAIN. I HAPPENED TODAY WHILE SITTING AT A RED LIGHT AND WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD. I WAS ON A CITY STREET.

AFTER THE CAR WAS FINISHED, I NOTICED THAT THERE WAS A SUBSTANTIAL AMOUNT OF CONDENSATION WITH IN MY PASSENGER SIDE HEADLAMP. AFTER ARRIVING HOME, I RESEARCHED AND FOUND THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE THAT HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR APPROX. 10 YEARS WITH THESE SPECIFIC VEHICLES. I WENT AND LOOK AT THE CAR AG…

Owner report 11467908 · 2022-06-07 (June 7, 2022)
The wave plate has failed inside the transmission causing the car to not go in reverse. I have done my research and this is a common problem with Buick models and should be recalled. The part is only 8 dollars but the transmission must be dropped in order to replace the part, which the labor is over 2,000 dollars which isn’t fair to the customers. Something should be done as soon as possible.
