Grease seals are blown. Grease everywhere on brakes. This is a known issue and no manufacturer are doing a recall. They are asking everyone to pull the drms and see if yours are affected. Going to cause an accident before too long.

The contact owns a 2025 Brinkley RV Model Z. The contact stated that while the RV was parked in the driveway, the contact heard popping sounds coming from the RV. The contact then noticed there were sparks coming from under the RV before it caught fire. The contact put out the fire with a hose. The contact stated that the fire started on the driver's side rear wheel. The fire department arrived at the residence to inspect for hot spots. Brinkley RV (Brinkley) is recalling certain 2025 Model Z travel trailers. The installed safety chains are underrated for the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR).
Consequence: Underrated chains can break, allowing the trailer to detach from the tow vehicle and increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the safety chains, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 8, 2024. Owners may contact Brinkley customer service at 1-574-501-4280. Brinkley's number for this recall is REC-2403.

Reported: 2024-11-22 (November 22, 2024)
Brinkley RV (Brinkley) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Model Z Fifth Wheel trailers equipped with Curt Helux Pin Boxes. The pin box fasteners may have been improperly tightened.
Consequence: The fasteners can loosen and fall out, allowing the tow vehicle to detach from the pin box and increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will tighten the fasteners, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 12, 2024. Owners may contact Brinkley customer service at 1-574-501-4280. Brinkley's number for this recall is REC-2405.

Brinkley RV (Brinkley) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Model G and Model Z fifth wheel travel trailers, equipped with a removable step assembly. The clip-on bracket mounting bolts may come loose, allowing the steps to detach.
Consequence: Steps that detach while in use increase the risk of injury.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the clip-on bracket as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 21, 2025. Owners may contact Brinkley customer service at 1-574-501-4280. Brinkley's number for this recall is REC-2502.

Brinkley RV (Brinkley) is recalling certain 2025 Model Z trailers. The electrical wiring may not be secured properly, which can result in damaged wiring and a short circuit.
Consequence: A short circuit increases the risk of a fire.

Brinkley RV (Brinkley) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Model Z trailers. The shock bolts may have been incorrectly tightened.
Consequence: Broken shock retainer bolt heads and washers may detach and become a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.
