From the time of purchase we have had an issue with the fuse blowing when we retracted the kitchen slide. We have had our Brinkley 5th wheel in for service at approved Brinkley locations for this issue multiple times with the issue reproduced. Service has occurred for this issue from March 2024 until April 2026. In April 2024 when we picked up the trailer we were told by Mike Thompson dealership where we purchased the RV, that this is common and we should invest in fuses. Despite multiple trips for service the issue has yet to be resolved. …

24V037000 · Suspension:Rear:Axle:Spindle

Reported: 2024-01-23 (January 23, 2024)

Brinkley RV (Brinkley) is recalling certain 2024 Model Z recreational vehicles. The axle spindle weld may fail, resulting in the wheel assembly detaching from the axle.

Consequence: Wheel assembly detachment increases the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the axles as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed in February 05, 2024. Owners may contact Brinkley customer service at 1-574-501-4280. Brinkley's number for this recall is REC-2401.

24V476000 · Equipment:Appliance:Refrigerator | Electrical System:Wiring

Reported: 2024-06-25 (June 25, 2024)

Brinkley RV (Brinkley) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Model Z fifth wheels and Model Z-Air travel trailers. The 12-volt system may have been incorrectly wired without overcurrent protection and with undersized wiring for the refrigerator, which can result in overheating.

Consequence: Overheated wiring can increase the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the wiring, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed in July 8, 2024. Owners may contact Brinkley customer service at 1-574-501-4280. Brinkley's number for this recall is REC-2402.

24V885000 · Trailer Hitches:Fifth Wheel Assembly

Reported: 2024-11-22 (November 22, 2024)

Brinkley RV (Brinkley) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Model Z Fifth Wheel trailers equipped with Curt Helux Pin Boxes. The pin box fasteners may have been improperly tightened.

Consequence: The fasteners can loosen and fall out, allowing the tow vehicle to detach from the pin box and increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will tighten the fasteners, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 12, 2024. Owners may contact Brinkley customer service at 1-574-501-4280. Brinkley's number for this recall is REC-2405.

25V286000 · Structure:Body:Step/Ladder

Reported: 2025-05-01 (May 1, 2025)

Brinkley RV (Brinkley) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Model G and Model Z fifth wheel travel trailers, equipped with a removable step assembly. The clip-on bracket mounting bolts may come loose, allowing the steps to detach.

Consequence: Steps that detach while in use increase the risk of injury.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the clip-on bracket as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 21, 2025. Owners may contact Brinkley customer service at 1-574-501-4280. Brinkley's number for this recall is REC-2502.
