Owner report 11650648 · 2025-03-25 (March 25, 2025)

The car has the fast wireless charging tray. I've attached a picture. The case for my phone has a small metal piece on the case. Its a regular case from Amazon. The wireless charger works fine, but it's also heating the metal phone cases to the point where it starts a small fire. Its a huge fire risk if you're not careful. We tried another case and we had the same problem.

Owner report 11736070 · 2026-05-06 (May 6, 2026)

I live in a suburban area of [XXX] where street lighting is sparse. At night, I depend on the rearview camera of my BMW 330i XDrive to help me park or back out of my driveway. When I shift into reverse, the view within the green pathway is acceptable, but visibility outside this area is quite poor, making it hard to clearly see or spot any objects or animals near my car, which raises safety concerns. This limited visibility occupies nearly 65% of the vehicle’s screen space, complicating the detection of nearby objects. I own two BMW 330i XDriv…

Owner report 11739017 · 2026-05-20 (May 20, 2026)

My car was parked overnight, and the windshield had a huge crack from the bottom left (meeting at the hood) all the way to the middle of the windhsield. There is no sign of a physical impact that caused the damage such as a rock. I took the car to the dealership, and they confirmed it was a clean break and they don't see any impact damage either. They called in BMW North America's master tech to try and approve the warranty claim, and he ultimately denied the claim as I had a radar detector on my windshield, and the small suction cup had enoug…

Owner report 11748430 · 2026-07-06 (July 6, 2026)

I have had to replace 6 of these tires on all wheels within in year as they develop bubbles even after almost being new with little mileage. I know of others who have similar problem. The service persons tell me that I am not alone with this issue. My son in his brand new BMW with same tires just got a bubble with 3K mikes on it.

25V202000 · Electrical System:Starter Assembly | Electrical System:Alternator/Generator/Regulator

Reported: 2025-04-01 (April 1, 2025)

BMW of North America, LLC (BMW) is recalling certain 2025 330i, 330i xDrive, 530i, 530i xDrive, 4 Series Coupe (430i, 430i xDrive), 4 Series Convertible (430i, 430i xDrive), 4 Series Gran Coupe (430i, 430i xDrive) and X3 30 xDrive vehicles. The electrical connection between the starter-generator and battery may come loose.

Consequence: A loose starter-generator connection can result in an engine stall, increasing the risk of a crash. In addition, the wiring may overheat, increasing the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the starter-generator and positive battery cable as necessary, free of charge. Interim owner letters notifying owners of the safety risk were mailed May 28, 2025. Second letters will be sent once the remedy is available. Owners may contact BMW customer service at 1-800-525-7417.
