How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? Failure of this component due to poor design led to intermittent issues upshifting during operation. Downshifting unaffected. STALLING OCCURS WHEN DISENGAGING THE CLUTCH WHILE DOWNSHIFTING, AS FUEL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM DOES NOT MAINTAIN PROPER, MINIMUM IDLE. NO POWER AVAILABLE WHEN RE-ENGAGING THE CLUTCH. THIS IS AN EXTREMELY DANGEROUS CONDITION ON A MOTORCYCLE, AS UNINTENDED ENGINE BREAKING WHILE ENTERING INTO A CURVE CAN OCCUR, LEADING TO A CRASH IF THE CLUTCH IS NOT IMMEDIATELY DISENGAGED BY THE RIDER.
