I WAS DRIVING HOME AND MY ABS LIGHT CAME ON, I LOOKED UP AND MY HEADLIGHT STARTED TO FLASH AND THEN MY TACHOMETER AND SPEEDOMETER FROZE IN PLACE AND DIMMED SIGNIFICANTLY. I KEPT DRIVING SINCE I WAS ON THE HIGHWAY AT NIGHT. ABOUT 5 SECONDS LATER EVERYTHING WENT BACK TO NORMAL THEN ABOUT 15 MINUTES DOWN THE ROAD MY ENTIRE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM TURNED OFF AND BACK ON ABOUT 3 TIMES. AT THIS POINT MY HEAD LIGHTS AND DASHBOARD WERE COMPLETELY TURNING OFF AND ON. WHEN I CAME TO A CONSTRUCTION ZONE AND MY BIKE WAS IN IDLE IT DIED AND WOULD NOT TURN BACK ON…

IT IS A KNOW ISSUE AMONG TRIUMPH DAYTONA OWNERS THAT THE TRANSMISSION AND GEARBOX IS VERY FRAGILE AND CAN GIVE OUT ANY TIME. SUDDEN MALFUNCTIONING OF THE TRANSMISSION CAN CAUSE CONFUSION AND FRU…
