The contact owns a 2024 Toyota Venza. The contact stated that while his wife was driving at 10-20 making a left turn, a Land Rover veered in her path, and she crashed. The auto collision system did not engage. The brakes were applied but failed to respond. There were no warning lights illuminated. I don’t have the specific date that this happened because it was several times. When I first got the car the Toyota app stopped working after a few days. I brought it back a couple times and they replaced the headpiece because the app system crashed. Then the CarPlay stopped working not long after the head piece was replaced and the app stopped working. After going to the dealership for eight or nine times they finally ordered me a DCM. -Issue with electrical system. Unable to access to connect services (APP, SOS). Contacted Toyota three times to let them know about this issue. -Collision Warning/Rear Cross Warning don't always operate. There is no sound or warning. -Occasionally, screen turns off completely when driving. -Navigation system is always confused and doesn't give proper directions. -Carplay not able to connect to phone sometimes. - -
