The contact owns a 2024 Toyota Tundra Hybrid. The contact stated that upon starting the vehicle and attempting to depress the brake pedal, the brake pedal went to the floorboard with no resistance. The contact depressed the brake pedal again and on the third attempt, the brake pedal functioned as intended. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact stated while driving 40-45 MPH uphill and depressing the brake pedal to come to a stop at the red traffic light, the brake pedal travelled down to the floorboard, and the vehicle failed to respond. The contact stated that while driving 3-20 MPH, the instrument cluster multi-information display (MID) located near the left side of the steering wheel was scrolling independently, causing the gauge information to be replaced independently on the instrument cluster.
