This vehicle stalls intermittently when it comes to a full stop. This problem still exists and last occurred on June 27, 2022. The vehicle has an intermittent issue (unpredictable with months, or minutes in between). Weather and road conditions have varied. Location has varied as well. Dates of occurrence are February 13, 2022; March 12, 2022 (occurred twice within a 20-minute time span); and June 27. I had stopped at a red like like normal and when I attempted to release the brake to move forward, the engine turned off and displayed a warning sign on the dashboard "engine steering low". I was driving on the furthest left lane of two and because there were other cars behind me I continued to attempt to restart the vehicle by shifting to park and then pressing the ignition auto start until finally on the third try the engine turned on and I could drive on. I was driving during the snow storm, my front sensor stopped working because it was covered in snow. That warning popped up on my dash screen and the warning light was on, after about half hour, the front collision warning light also turned on. I had not been able to stop to clean the sensor. The contact owns a 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross. The contact stated that while at a traffic light, the vehicle shutoff and failed to restart after several attempts. The message "Malfunction - Take to Dealer" was displayed. The contact stated that she shifted into park(P) and pressed the START button, and the vehicle responded as needed. I was making an Michigan Left turn/U-turn & Hit the breaks for a traffic Signal, All of a Sudden my Engine stopped & steering got locked (I mean complete Halt), Then I have to change the Gear to Parking & restart my Car followed by Shifting to Drive mode, Luckily Vehicle started Moving & steering was Free.
