ALL INTERIOR LIGHTS, DASH, OVERHEAD, TROUBLE LIGHTS, ETC, HAVE INTERMITTENTLY WORKED AND THEN NOT WORKED. FOR EXAMPLE, IF THE AIR CONDITIONER LIGHTS STOP WORKING, I CAN HIT THE DASH AND THEY COME ON. IF THE INTERIOR LIGHT GOES OUT, I CAN SHAKE SEVERAL COMPONENTS AND IT COMES ON. THE BRAKE LIGHT COMES ON PERIODICALLY, THEN GOES OUT. THE "D" ON THE GEAR LIGHTS (INDICATES CAR TRANSMISSION IS IN DRIVE) GOES OUT, I AGAIN HIT DASHBOARD, AND IT COMES BACK ON. *NLM

WHILE STOPPED WITH FOOT ON BRAKE, THE ENGINE VIBRATES TERRIBLE AND THE STEERING WHEEL SHAKES; THE WHOLE CAR SHAKES ESPECIALLY BAD WHEN IN REVERSE. THE PREVIOUS OWNER SPENT A LOT OF $$ TRYING TO FIX THIS PROBLEM. NOW, I'M SPENDING $$ TRYING TO FIX THIS PROBLEM. I JUST HAD A TUNE UP, AND I WILL BE REPLACING THE TIMING BELT, FUEL PUMP, FUEL FILTER, PCV VALVE, DISTRIBUTOR CAP & ROTOR, TENSION SPRING, IDLER PULLY, AND WHO KNOWS WHAT ELSE. I HAVE READ OVER AND OVER AGAIN THAT THE TOYOTA DEALER SAYS THIS IS NORMAL, BUT THIS IS NOT NORMAL VIBRATION …
