WE WERE PULLING INTO A GAS STATION WHEN THE ENGINE SHUT OFF AND WE HAD NO CONTROL OVER THE MOTORHOME. AFTER A PERIOD OF TIME THE COACH STARTED AND WE WENT ON OUR WAY. AN HOUR LATER UPON ARRIVING BACK HOME PULLING INTO THE STORAGE FACILITY WHERE WE KEEP THE COACH IT SHUT OFF AGAIN AND WE WERE ABLE TO ROLL TO A STOP. I CALLED THOR MOTOR COMPANY AS I WAS REALLY UPSET THEY INFORMED ME THAT THERE WAS A RECALL AND THEY DID NOT KNOW WHY WE NEVER RECEIVED A NOTICE. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 THOR MOTOR COACH WINDSPORT. WHILE DRIVING 80 MPH, THE ENGINE SEIZED WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT CALLED FOR ASSISTANCE AND WAS INFORMED THAT THERE WAS A LOOSE CONNECTION. THE MOTORHOME WAS REPAIRED AND ABLE TO BE DRIVEN TO THE CONTACT'S DESTINATION. AFTER BEING PARKED FOR A MONTH, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED.
