TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2020 THOR MOTOR COACH FREEDOM ELITE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT AN UNDISCLOSED SPEED, AND MAKING A LEFT TURN THE RV LOSS MOTIVE POWER, POWER STEERING, POWER BRAKES, AND STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO RESTART THE RV. THE CONTACT STATED THAT ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS. THE RV WAS TOWED TO WAXAHACHIE FORD LOCATED AT 1780 W. The contact owns a 2022 Ford E-450. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle, the parking brake light remained illuminated, causing the ABS to become inoperable. Also, the message "Service Advance Trak" was sometimes displayed disabling the ABS and the cruise control. The cause of the failure was not determined. The local dealer and manufacturer were notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 3,000.

IN DECEMBER 2020 WE HAD JUST RETURNED FROM A 2 WEEK TRIP WHEN I NOTICED EXTENSIVE WATER DAMAGE UNDER THE MATTRESS OF THE REAR BED. UPON FURTHER INSPECTION, I PULLED THE MATTRESS BACK AND THERE WAS A INCH GAP BETWEEN THE BACK EXTERIOR WALL AND THE BED FRAME. THE GAP WAS COMPLETELY THROUGH TO THE GROUND BELOW. SO WE TOOK THE UNIT THE THE LOCAL CAMPING WORLD FOR REPAIR (ASSUMING IT WOULD BE UNDER THE EXTENDED WARRANTY WE PURCHASED) AND IT WAS FOUND THE THE UNIT WAS NEVER PROPERLY SECURED TO THE FRAME AND FASTENING POINTS. WHILE TRAVELING IN OUR NEW THOR MOTORHOME AT 60 MPH THE BEDROOM SLIDEOUT FULLY EXTENDED ITSELF. WE STOPPED ON THE SHOULDER OF THE TWO-LANE HIGHWAY AND RETRACTED THE SLIDE OUT WITH THE BEDROOM TOGGLE SWITCH AND THEN TURNED OFF POWER TO SLIDE OUT. STOPPED AT GAS STATION AND SLIDE OUT AGAIN EXTENDED ITSELF AND WOULD NOT RETRACT. CALLED ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE WHO ARRIVED AND DIAGNOSED A BAD SLIDE OUT TOGGLE SWITCH AND REMOVED THE SWITCH.
