THERE ARE KEY FOBS, ONE EACH FOR THE TWO DRIVERS IN THE HOUSE. THESE ARE IDENTIFIED IN THE PROFILE SETTINGS. FOR THE PAST FOUR YEARS, AFTER A SPECIFIC UPDATE TO THE FIRMWARE (I CAN’T PINPOINT WHICH OR THE PRECISE MONTH/YEAR), USING A KEY FOB WILL FREQUENTLY, BUT ERRATICALLY CHOOSE THE WRONG PROFILE. BECAUSE OF THE DIFFERENCE IN DRIVER HEIGHTS, THIS MAY MEAN THAT THE SEAT IS ADJUSTING FORWARD CAUSING KNEES TO QUICKLY APPROACH THE AREA OF THE DASHBOARD. AS ONE EXAMPLE WHERE I HAVE PINPOINTED WHEN THIS IS LIKELY TO OCCUR, I WILL HAVE FINISHED CHAR…

The Model S and X has a recall for vehicles from 2015 to October 2016 builds. The recall is about the "parking break not released" when shifting to drive. My Model X is built in November 2016 and occasionally gets the warning of "parking break not released" from time to time. I would like to aware you guys and to please look into this issue that im facing. It may help if you guys over at NHTSA can look into what parking break Part numbers are installed on models earlier than my November 2016 built. Thanks!

While driving on city streets at very low speeds, error messages starting popping up on the screen "Vehicle may not restart/Service is required". We somehow made it home by restarting the computer and driving home at low speeds. At freeway speeds, this would have been catastrophic. We were able to make an appointment with the Tesla service center and found this to be due to the battery coolant heater to be internally shorted which in turn was because the large rear drive unit had an internal coolant leak. This required a very expensive $8k rep…

When shifting into Reverse the rear camera is delayed to be displayed. This to me is a safety concern.

During hard rainfall the software of the vehicle issues an error: the windshield wipers, headlights, taillights and turn signal all stop working. Lane assist and parking assist fail as well. Sometimes the vehicle shifts into park when you stop. After stopping the vehicle, the doors won't open so you cannot exit the car. It does not matter if the car is moving or stationary when the software fails. You have to reboot the car and hope it resolves, usually it doesn't, or most often just wait to time the software glitch for the moment when the func…
