TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 1999 PONTIAC PURSUIT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE BRAKES FAILED; MAKING IT DIFFICULT TO STOP THE VEHICLE AT ANY TIME. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED, BUT DENIED ANY ASSISTANCE WITH THE VEHICLE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 24,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 24,500. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE. UPDATED 08/31/2011 *LN THE DEALER REPAIRED THE BRAKE LINKAGE BY INSTALLING A GREASE FITTING, BUT IT DIDN'T RESOLVE THE PROBLEM. . THE SECOND TIME IT FAIL, THE CONSUMER WAS INFORMED A NEW BOOSTER WAS NEEDED. UPDATED 09/01/11

I AM ACTUALLY FROM OTTAWA, ONTARIO CANADA. I COULD NOT ENTER THAT BELOW. THIS IS A PERSISTENT ISSUE. IT OCCURS APPROX. TWICE A MONTH. MY CAR AT RANDOM INTERVALS OF TIME WILL BEEP FOUR TIMES AND MY READOUT ON THE DASHBOARD WILL GIVE ME A POWERSTEERING MESSAGE. MY SPEEDOMETER AND RPM GAUGES WILL GO UP AND DOWN CLEARLY NOT DISPLAYING THE CHANGES IN MY DRIVING AT THE TIME. THE CAR BEGINS TO KICK BACK REALLY HARD WITH ENOUGH FORCE TO BOUNCE ME AND ANYONE ELSE IN MY CAR AT THE TIME IN OUR SEATS. THESE KICKS HAVE NO RHYME OR REASON AND ARE N…
