Owner report 10068078 · 2004-04-29 (April 29, 2004)

I HAVE A 1992 PLYMOUTH VOYAGER. DUE TO A DEFECT IN THE ENGINE, I HAD TO HAVE IT RPLACED IN APRIL OF 2002. THEN THIS APRIL, I HAD TO HAVE THE TRANSMISSION REPLACED. SIMPLY PUT I HAD TO HAVE THE ENGINE REPLACED DUE TO EXCESSIVE SMOKING THROUGH THE TAIL PIPE. I AM SURE YOU HAVE HAD OTHER REPORTS OF THIS. IT COSTS ME $4,251.25 TO REPLACE AND THE TRANSMISSION WAS ANOTHER $2500. I DO BELIEVE THAT CHRYSLER SHOULD REIMBURSE ME FOR THIS. I HAVE COPIES OF HISTORICAL MAINTENANCE REPORTS FOR MY VAN AND COPIES OF THE BILLS FOR THE ENGINE …

Owner report 10029403 · 2003-12-03 (December 3, 2003)

THE BRAKES WERE REPAIRED UNDER RECALL# 96V099000 IN AUGUST 2001. THE BRAKES WERE INTERMITTENT AFTER THE REPAIR AND NOW THE BRAKES ARE NOT OPERATING AT ALL. THE DEALER WILL ONLY DO THE REPAIRS AT THE OWNER'S EXPENSE BECAUSE THE BRAKES ARE OUT OF WARRANTY. *AK THE DUAL FUNCTION PRESSURE SWITCH REPAIRED THE POWER TO THE PUMP. THE ACCUMULATOR WAS NEEDED FOR IT TO MAINTAIN THE CORRECT PRESSURE. THE DEALER DID NOT COMPLETE THE RECALL. NO REPAIRS WERE FOUND IN THE ABS WIRING. *SCC *JB

Owner report 10207452 · 2007-10-30 (October 30, 2007)

MY 1992 CHRYSLER VOYAGER HAS BENDIX 10 ABS BRAKES AND ONCE THE BRAKE BOOSTER WAS OUT. OUR LOCAL CHRYSLER DEALER MADE CERTAIN THAT THE BOOSTER PUMP WAS BURNED OUT. WHILE THE PUMP WAS ALREADY REPLACED IN 2000 THEY SAID THE WARRANTY COVERS ONLY 1 PUMP PER VEHICLE!! AS I KNOW RECALL 96V-99 (CHRYSLER RECALL #685) REFERS TO A LIFETIME WARRANTY (FOR BOOSTER ELECTRICAL PUMP). SHORT LIFE, ISN'T IT? *TR
