Owner report 11386926 · 2021-01-07 (January 7, 2021)
MY 2019 NISSAN TITAN, WITH ONLY 6500 MILES, HAS TWICE FAILED TO SHIFT FROM LOWER GEAR WHEN PULLING AWAY FROM A STOPLIGHT OR STOP SIGN CAUSING ME TO HAVE TO PULL OUT OF TRAFFIC ON A CITY STREET. EVENTUALLY, IT SHIFTED AS NORMAL. THE ELECTRICAL ISSUE IS MORE PERPLEXING. WITHOUT HAVING THE IGNITION KEY IN EVEN REMOTELY CLOSE PROXIMITY TO, AND WITH THE VEHICLE STATIONARY AND NOT RUNNING, THE VEHICLE RADIO BEGINS PLAYING.

2019 NISSAN TITAN PRO-4X WHILE DRIVING THE TRUCK, THE BATTERY VOLTAGE WILL DROP BELOW 12 VOLTS (AS LOW AS 11.75 VOLTS). WHEN THE VOLTAGE IS LOW I'VE NOTICED THAT THE TRANSMISSION IS CONSTANTLY 'HUNTING' TO FIND THE RIGHT GEAR. ALSO THE THROTTLE CONTROL BECOMES 'SLUGGISH'. WHEN TRYING TO LIGHTLY ACCELERATE IT WILL NOT GAIN SPEED UNTIL THE TRANSMISSION DOWNSHIFTS HARSHLY. ON A HANDFUL OF OCCASIONS I'VE EXPERIENCED AN ISSUE WHERE I CAN PUSH THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL TO THE FLOOR AND IT WOULD NOT ACCELERATE AT ALL. THE ENGINE RPMS WOULD SLOWLY INCRE…

Owner report 11652127 · 2025-04-01 (April 1, 2025)
2019 Nissan Titan XD Diesel 153,700 miles. Driving 70-75mph on Texas highway and felt a vibration when I pressed on the gas pedal. Started moving over to exit due to power loss when a slight puff of smoke came out. I pulled over in a safe area and shut the truck off. There were NO Warning lights on the cluster. When I stepped out a small puddle of oil had already started to form under the truck. Open the hood and the passenger side engine compartment was covered in oil. I noticed oil formed on the license plate and was dripping out of the exhau…

SOMETHING WRONG WITH FUEL TANK AS IT BLEW A HOLE OUTWARD FROM INSIDE THE TANK LIKE AN EXIT WOUND FROM A SHOTGUN SHELL. THIS CAUSED THE 26 GALLONS OF GAS TO FLOW OUT OF THE TANK AND LOST PRESSURE. SPRAYING GAS ON THE REAR WHEEL AND BRAKE PADS WHICH COULD HAVE IGNITED IF SPARKED. NO IDEA WHEN IT OCCURED AS WE WERE NOT IN THE VEHICLE IT WAS PARKED AFTER THE 3RD FILLING OF THE TANK AND ABOUT 100 MILES OF DRIVING ON THAT FULL TANK.*DT*JB *DT*JB CONSUMER STATED THAT THERE WAS DEFINITE AND OBVIOUS DIFFERENCE THAT COULD BE SEEN IN THE TANK TEXTURE F…

REAR BRAKES WILL MAKE SQUEALING NOISE AND CAUSE BRAKES TO WEAR EXCESSIVELY AND CAUSE BRAKE FAILURE, NISSAN ATTEMPTED TO REPAIR 5 TIMES AND WERE UNABLE TO AND WILL NOT REPURCHASE OR REPLACE THE VEHICLE AND EXPECT OWNERS TO GO OUT ON THEIR OWN TO REPAIR VEHICLE WITH ONLY 4,000 MILES ON THE ODOMETER

Owner report 11608812 · 2024-08-15 (August 15, 2024)
I stopped to get diesel and pulled onto the interstate. Within 2 miles of being on the interstate, the engine felt as though it downshifted, lost power, and stalled in a construction one lane zone with no way to get out of traffic. The engine would no longer turn over and the truck would not start. This was a danger, not only to me, but to other drivers on the interstate. Had taken 90 miles away to a certified diesel nissan dealership who said all of the fluids were good and the motor was locked solid. It was not covered by warranty ans was es…

Alternator harness is defective in my 2019 Nissan Titan. My truck has stalled on me twice while running and my air conditioner compressor has stopped working and radio is not working properly, and it is draining my battery, there is a delay when starting my vehicle as if it does not have enough power. I replaced the air conditioner compressor and vehicle battery. After replacing the air conditioner compressor it stopped working after two weeks. NISSAN CONNECT SYSTEM CONSTANTLY RESETS OR REBOOTS, APPLE CARPLAY WORKS INTERMITTENTLY AND RADIO TURNS ON AND OFF, BY ITSELF, CONSTANTLY, WHETHER CAR IS RUNNING OR NOT. MOST TIMES THE RADIO COMES ON BY MERELY APPROACHING THE TRUCK WITH THE FOB ON MY PERSON OR WHEN SIMPLY OPENING THE DOOR. WHEN IT COMES OUT ON UNEXPECTEDLY, IT STARTLES EVERYONE ON BOARD DUE THE VERY LOUD VOLUME, AND CAUSES THE ELDERLY DRIVER TO GRAB THE STEERING WHEEL TIGHTLY AND SLAM THE BRAKES WHEN DRIVING. THERE'S NO WAY TO TURN IT OFF UNTIL IT GOES OFF BY ITSELF, SOMETIMES A…
