Reported: 2021-07-20 (July 20, 2021) · Model years: 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022

Newell Coach Corp. (Newell) is recalling certain 2008-2022 P50 vehicles. The adhesive that bonds the vented portion of the window may fail.

Consequence: Adhesive failure may cause the vent portion of the window to detach, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.

Remedy: Newell will inspect the windows, and replace the vent if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on July 29, 2021. Owners may contact Newell's customer service at 1-888-363-9355.

17V728000 · Electrical System:Wiring:Fuses And Circuit Breakers

Reported: 2017-11-17 (November 17, 2017) · Model years: 2017, 2018

Newell Coach Corp. (Newell) is recalling certain 2017-2018 P50 coaches. These coaches have 100 amp self-resetting circuit breakers that may trip unexpectedly causing a loss of essential coach chassis systems such as ignition power, head lights, tail lights and wipers.

Consequence: If the circuit breaker trips there is an increased risk of a crash.

Remedy: Newell will notify owners and will replace the 100 amp breaker with a 120 amp breaker, free of charge. The recall began on December 5, 2017. Owners may contact Newell customer service at 1-888-363-9355.

19V379000 · Visibility:Windshield Wiper/Washer:Linkages

Reported: 2019-05-17 (May 17, 2019) · Model years: 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020

Newell Coach Corp. (Newell) is recalling certain 2017-2020 P50 motorcoaches. The passenger side wiper arm linkage may be too short, possibly causing the wiper to malfunction and rotate in a downward position.

Consequence: If the wiper rotates in a downward position, visibility through the right side of the windshield may be reduced, increasing the risk of crash.

Remedy: Newell will notify owners, and dealer will inspect and replace the wiper linkage with one that has been properly aligned, if necessary, free of charge. The recall began June 18, 2019. Owners may contact Newell customer service at 1-888-363-9355.

20V367000 · Service Brakes, Hydraulic:Pedals And Linkages

Reported: 2020-06-23 (June 23, 2020) · Model years: 2020, 2021

Newell Coach Corp. (Newell) is recalling certain 2020-2021 P50 motor coaches. The decorative cover for the center console column may be knocked loose by the driver's foot, allowing the piece to become lodged under the brake pedal.

Consequence: If the cover piece becomes lodged under the brake pedal, the ability to stop the coach may be impacted, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Newell will notify owners and request the owners remove and discard the decorative cover. Newell will install a replacement apron cover, free of charge. This recall began July 10, 2020. Owners may contact Newell customer service at 1-888-363-9355. Newell's number for this recall is 124.

25V812000 · Seats

Reported: 2025-11-24 (November 24, 2025) · Model years: 2022

Newell Coach Corp. (Newell) is recalling certain 2022 P50 coaches. The pedestal mounting plate may have been improperly welded, causing the plate to separate and the seat assembly to loosen or detach. As such, these seat assemblies fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) numbers 207, "Seating Systems" and 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."

Consequence: A loose or detached seat assembly may not restrain the occupant as intended, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.

Remedy: Newell will inspect for a missing weld and replace the pedestal seat as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 2, 2025. Owners may contact Newell customer service at 1-888-363-9355.

23V055000 · Electrical System:12v/24v/48v Battery

Reported: 2023-02-07 (February 7, 2023) · Model years: 2023

Newell Coach Corp. (Newell) is recalling certain 2023 P50 motor coaches. The battery disconnect switch may fail to disconnect the battery when turned to the off position.

Consequence: A failed battery disconnect switch increases the risk of electrical shock and injury during maintenance or repairs.

Remedy: Newell will remove and replace the battery disconnect switch, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 13, 2023. Owners may contact Newell customer service at 1-888-363-9355.

23V147000 · Exterior Lighting:Brake Lights:Switch

Reported: 2023-03-06 (March 6, 2023) · Model years: 2023, 2024

Newell Coach Corp. (Newell) is recalling certain 2023-2024 P50 motor coaches. The brake lights may fail to illuminate unless the brake pedal is fully depressed.

Consequence: Brake lights that fail to illuminate may reduce the visibility of the vehicle or fail to indicate to other drivers that the coach is slowing down, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Newell will rewire the brake switch, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 14, 2023. Owners may contact Newell customer service at 1-888-363-9355.

23V765000 · Exterior Lighting:Headlights

Reported: 2023-11-13 (November 13, 2023) · Model years: 2024

Newell Coach Corp. (Newell) is recalling certain 2024 P50 motor coaches. The low beam headlights may be installed incorrectly.

Consequence: Incorrectly installed headlights can reduce the visibility of oncoming traffic, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will adjust the low beam headlights, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 30, 2023. Owners may contact Newell customer service at 1-888-363-9355.

26V488000 · Suspension:Front:Springs:Air Suspension:Springs/Bags

Reported: 2026-07-28 (July 28, 2026) · Model years: 2025, 2026, 2027

Newell Coach Corp. (Newell) is recalling certain 2025-2027 P50 coaches. The steer axle air spring base may crack.

Consequence: A cracked base may result in a loss of air pressure and suspension support, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the air springs as necessary and add a support plate to the base, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 3, 2026. Owners may contact Newell customer service at 1-888-363-9355.
