I HAVE A 2013 MINI CLUBMAN S WITH ONLY 8K MILES ON IT. AS I STARTED IT TODAY AND WAS DRIVING OUT OF MY GARAGE THE BRAKES WOULD NOT FUNCTION AS THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS VERY HARD, (LIKE STEPPING ON A BRICK) AND WAS UNABLE TO BRING THE CAR TO A STOP USING THE BRAKE PEDAL? I have taken my 2016 Mini Cooper clubman in to the dealership multiple times for recalls. After I got my back now it’s saying that my drivetrain needs to be repaired and when I put fuel into my car the car studders to start. I have to turn it on and off like 3 times before I can even leave the gas station. My car also is telling me that I need to secure my vehicle with the parking brake when stopped because the transmission is not in park. Issue 1 - Engine had a rough idle - dealer investigation found that the "upper engine mount had collapsed completely allowing the engine to rest on the housing". This problem occurred at 52 months from new vehicle purchase at 24,165 miles (warranty is 4 years, 50,000 miles). The vehicle was never in an accident, nor drive rough.
