Owner report 11529864 · 2023-07-01 (July 1, 2023)

Sunday, June 25, when I was driving the car on the road, the engine shut off and the car stopped running. 3 warning lights show on screen: engine light; 48v Battery Service Required; 12v Battery service required. I used the break to park the car on the roadside after that. I tried many times to restart the car, Waited over one hour and 40 minutes it finally started again, the engine warning light was still on until the second day morning, and I was able to take pics as evident. 1. What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it a…

Owner report 11538722 · 2023-08-15 (August 15, 2023)

This 2023 GLC, a newly redesigned model, has a number of issues. The two most severe are the adaptive speed limit and the lane keeping assist. I had to disable the traffic sign recognition feature because I was on I-95 in Maryland where the posted speed limit was 65. The car abruptly slowed me down to 35 because it saw an exit sign speed limit but I was not on the exit. I was lucky the car behind me didn't hit me. A warning would be good but to brake the vehicle for a speed limit sign seems problematic. The more serious issue is the lane …

Owner report 11563288 · 2024-01-03 (January 3, 2024)

This vehicle has now had three episodes where warning lights came on for no apparent reason. There have been two episodes of "Check Engine Light" coming on, the first with less than 1000 miles on the vehicle. It was driven to the dealer and they checked finding no problems and said not to worry about it. The second about two months later with an indication of "Excessive engine Temperature", but the engine was cold and just started, the fan was running very fast, but otherwise the vehicle was operable. Again, the dealer could find no problem…
