The vehicle is subject to Safety Recall 26V073 (High-Voltage Battery Fire Risk). Since March 2023, at 6,177 miles, the vehicle has experienced recurring powertrain and battery malfunctions. Despite 11 total service visits and 8 specific attempts to repair the battery management system and powertrain modules, the defect remains unresolved. The contact owns a 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQB 350 4Matic. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 26V073000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the vehicle was unsafe to drive, even though the manufacturer had not instructed vehicle owners to stop driving the vehicle.
