When I brake the car makes a clunking noise and I can feel a thumping on the brake pedal as I try and bring the car to a stop. This car is brand new. I have owned it for almost 3 weeks and it has less than 100 miles on it. You can both hear and feel the the clunk/thump as you attempt to brake the car. A recall was issued for the fuel pump, creating a major safety issue and increased risk of collision, which still no available remedy. The manufacturer has failed to provide a resolution in a timely manner, especially for such a vital competent wearing down every day. Furthermore, the manufacturer has offered not other alternatives such as loaned vehicle or compensation for the risk of sudden motor failure.

I recently received a notification from Mercedes-Benz concerning a safety defect in my vehicle, and to be honest, it's really concerning. The issue is with the fuel pump impeller in certain models, including mine. If this part malfunctions, it can cause the vehicle to suddenly lose power, potentially leading to accidents.
