TL* THE CONTACT DROVE A 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ A220. WHILE AT A FUEL STATION WITH THE ENGINE WAS POWERED OFF, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO RESTART. THE CONTACT CALLED MERCEDES-BENZ ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE AND A TECHNICIAN CAME OUT AND ATTEMPTED TO START THE VEHICLE, BUT WAS UNSUCCESSFUL. My A220 has numerous problems starting the airbag failure light comes on very often which I took in for a repair - Mercedes of downtown stated they fixed but it still has the airbag failure light appearing every now and again. The second issue that keeps happening is what I believe is a transmission failure, the first time I bought the car I noticed it kept jolting when accelerating and or going up a hill. The contact owns a 2019 Mercedes-Benz A220. The contact stated that he received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V990000 (Steering, Suspension) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The local dealer and the manufacturer were made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. The VIN was invalid.

The tow hook and strap used when necessary to tow a car and that is stowed under the car or behind the rear bumper and accessed through a small door on the bumper spontaneously deployed while I was driving. It flew up against the side of the car, causing minor damage, damaged and partially dislodged the rear bumper, and the hook embedded in the right rear tire, causing it to go flat. The car shakes, vibrates and has rough idling. My engines stalls when it is at low rpm. I am afraid that if this is not fixed a fuel leak could occur in the presence of an ignition source, such as hot engine or exhaust components, which could increase the risk of a fire
