Owner report 11687780 · 2025-09-17 (September 17, 2025)
Had this Mazda CX30 as a rental car for about a week. Was pulling into the driveway, hit the brakes, and the vehicle took off full speed causing a crash. The engine was revving at max and the vehicle was accelerating as if the gas pedal was floored. No matter what pedal I hit the car just kept going until the crash and being shut off.

I am writing regarding my 2025 Mazda CX-30, purchased brand new with 0 miles on [XXX]. The vehicle currently has 22,000 miles. I am extremely concerned about the reliability and, most importantly, the SAFETY of this vehicle. August 29, 2025: I brought the vehicle to the dealership after receiving a recall notice. My service slip states only “performed Software update,” with no details regarding the recall. Refers something about the engine being left on over 2 hours will loose power. Mileage was 9,650. [XXX]: The check engine light came on. I …

Owner report 11697636 · 2025-11-05 (November 5, 2025)
The vehicle has a built in wireless phone charger. When the charger is used for for more than > 10 minutes, the phone proceeds to heat up to the point it burns your hand when you take it off the charger. I have spoken to the dealer and the service advisor says this is “normal” and occurs in a variety of car models. Then he blamed my phone, but my phone does not heat when using any other wireless or plug in charger. I am concerned that the excess heat will result in the battery exploding as we have seen with other phone charger and laptop charge…

Owner report 11723758 · 2026-03-12 (March 12, 2026)
The vehicle has major electrical issues. The ABS and all over driver safety options would shut off for days at a time. I had purchased this cx30 as new on January 02, 2026. It totally died and wouldn't start on February 03, 2026. It had to ve towed by mazda roadside assistance to Towne Mazda dealer in Orchard Park NY. It is now March 12, 2026 and the dealer has had my vehicle for over a month. They put a new wiring harness in it ans other components. Very frustrating.
