TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 MASERATI QUATTROPORTE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME VERY STIFF WHILE ATTEMPTING TO MAKE AN EXTREME LEFT OR RIGHT TURN. WHILE DRIVING 25-30 MPH, THE ENGINE STALLED AND THE VEHICLE CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP WHEN THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED. WHEN APPROACHING A STOP SIGN OR TRAFFIC SIGNAL, THE VEHICLE WOULD SLOW DOWN AND SHUT OFF COMPLETELY. THE VEHICLE MUST THEN BE RECHARGED AND RESTARTED. THE FAILURE OCCURRED THREE TIMES. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 MASERATI QUATTROPORTE. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH, THE BRAKES FAILED TO ENGAGE CAUSING THE CONTACT TO LOSE CONTROL AND CRASH INTO A CONCRETE BARRIER. THE CONTACT DID NOT SUSTAIN ANY INJURIES AND A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A BODY SHOP. HOWEVER, THE FAILURE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED NOR WAS THE VEHICLE REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 72,000.

Rattles very bad under the car likes if it’s going to fall apart the steering would just go lose and not steer in the direction you are trying to steer in where I had to throw my emergency brakes to avoid collision something is not right under this vehicle it say my year make and model had a tie rod recall in the rear but when they put my vin number to my car it shows there’s no recall on it well that’s weird if my vehicle make and model and years shoes it had a recall but not my vehicle and I was told by a mechanic when I tried to get an alig…

The systems that failed is the emergency parking brake, as well as, the tire pressure monitoring system. Both systems would be available for inspection on request. Due to the failure of the emergency parking brake places not only the safety of others but myself, as well, at risk in the event of an emergency braking situation. Due to the failure of the tire pressure monitoring system could also place others safety and myself at risk by causing a tire to be flat without me being aware.
