Since I am just finding out how to file a complaint I figured I would. I still have this car with me. The incident happened about 2 years ago. I was driving down the highway going to Castle Rock Colorado. When all of a sudden my car is thrown into neutral and my rpms go to 6,000. I had no way to accelerate and the car wasn't in gear to help decelerate . Since I was going down the highway at a high rate of speed trucks and cars were all around me.. The contact owns a 2015 Lexus NX. The contact stated that while driving approximately 65 MPH the vehicle suddenly experienced a loss of automotive power and stalled. The contact indicated that the failure had occurred while driving on a very busy freeway. During the failure, the warning messages "engine power lost" and "traction control off" were displayed along with the check engine light illuminating. 9/5/2016. VEHICLE BEGAN TO SLOW DOWN DESPITE PRESSING ACCELERATOR. RPMS WOULD NOT GO ABOVE 1200 RPM. MESSAGE DISPLAYED "REDUCED ENGINE POWER. I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AND SUDDENLY MY VEHICLE'S ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND THE PANEL SHOWS A REDUCE ENGINE POWER MESSAGE. I TRIED TO ACCELERATE MY VEHICLE BUT IT DIDN'T WANT TO GO OVER 20 MPH, THAN IT BEGAN STALLING UNTIL IT SHUT OFF. I TRIED TO RESTART IT BUT IT KEPT DOING THE SAME THING.
