AFTER FEELING THAT MY BRAKES HADN'T WORKED PROPERLY AT A STOP LIGHT (I ALMOST SKID THROUGH IT), I WAS TRAVELING ABOUT 35 MPH AROUND A CURVE AND LIGHTLY PRESSED ON THE BRAKES TO MAKE SURE I WOULD SLOW DOWN. UNBELIEVABLY, MY BRAKES COMPLETELY FAILED AND I ACTUALLY BELIEVE I SPED UP WHILE AT THE SAME TIME MY STEERING WENT OUT OF CONTROL. I WAS UNABLE TO CONTROL OR STOP THE CAR. My 4 LO light is constantly flashing, and I lose power when trying to accelerate. 1.Loss of Traction Control: If the 4WD system fails while engaged, it could lead to a sudden loss of traction. 2011 LEXUS GX460 CONSTANT SHAKING/VIBRATIONS IN THE STEERING WHEEL MAINLY IN THE FRONT END. ALL 5 TIRES REPLACED AND SWITCHED TO A DIFFERENT BRAND, 4WHEEL ROAD FORCE BALANCE, RACK AND PINION STEERING ADJUSTED WHICH RESULTED IN MORE "PLAY" AND LESS CONTROL OFF THE TRUCK, STILL SHAKING/VIBRATING REMAINS AND LEXUS EXECUTIVES SAY THERE IS NO FIX FOR IT! NEW LEXUS GX460 HAS A VIBRATION IN THE STEERING WHEEL AT FREEWAY SPEED. THE VIBRATION CAN CAUSE THE VEHICLE TO DRIFT INTO THE NEXT LANE. THE DEALER ATTEMPTED TO BALANCE THE EXISTING WHEELS AND TIRES TWO TIMES. THIS DID NOT WORK. THE DEALER THEN REPLACED THE WHEELS AND TIRES. THIS DID NOT WORK. DEALER CALLED TOYOTA TECH. ALL STEERING, WHEEL, AND SUSPENSION PARTS WERE CHECKED AND FOUND TO BE OK. CAR STILL HAS THE SAME VIBRATION, AND IS STILL AT THE DEALER. CAR IS DANGEROUS TO DRIVE IN THIS CONDITION. *TR

The driver’s seat is making cracking, clicking, popping, and creaking noises from the lower seat frame, seat rail, or mounting area where the seat attaches to the vehicle body. The noise is most noticeable during braking, acceleration, turning, driving over uneven roads, and when shifting body weight in the seat. It feels as though the seat has movement or play, as if the seat rails, frame, or mounting bolts may not be fully secure.
