FOR TWO YEARS THIS CAR AS HAD NUMEROUS EPISODES OF WHILE DRIVING COMPLETELY SHUTTING DOWN WITH NO ADVANCED WARNING AND AT VARIOUS SPEEDS. I HAVE DRIVEN ON WARM, COLD, WET AND DRY DAYS WHEN THIS HAS OCCURRED. MOST RECENTLY I WAS DRIVING ON A MAIN STREET WHEN THE CAR JUST SHUT DOWN AND WAS ALMOST HIT FROM BEHIND. THE CAR HAS BEEN IN FOR SERVICE MANY TIMES WITH NO RESOLUTION, THEY SAY THEY CAN NOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. The contact leased a 2019 LAND ROVER Range Rover Velar. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked with the parking brake activated, the vehicle rolled backward without warning. The contact had taken the vehicle to the dealer and informed the mechanic of the failure. The mechanic inspected the vehicle and the contact was able to show him video footage of the failure. As I was driving down the interstate doing about 75 miles per hour the car lost all power without a warning. It was at night in the middle of no where. I almost had a bad accident but I was able to veer off the road before the car brakes locked. I was unable to use safety flashers.
