TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SPORT. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY SHUT OFF. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER (JAKE KAPLAN LANDROVER OF WARWICK, RHODE ISLAND) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS TO THE FUEL PUMP WERE FAULTY AND HAD OVERHEATED. There are KNOWN areas around the A pillar, windshield, and sunroof that leak and allow water to enter the vehicle and pool up in the wiring channels next to the doors, the water causes shorts and corrosion in the wiring which causes faults (Check engine, etc) that the owner is forced to attempt to correct on their own. There are numerous videos made by Land Rover owners over the last 15 years showing the common areas where water enters the vehicle.
