TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2020 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE COMING TO A STOP THE VEHICLE JERKED FORWARD. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE RPM REVVED INDEPENDENTLY. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT WHILE STOPPED WITH THE BRAKE PEDAL DEPRESSED, THE ENGINE REVVED UP AND THE VEHICLE MOVED FORWARD. On December 17, 2022 I got back in my car from an earlier outing and had no brakes whatsoever. There was no warning, only a warning light afterwards that read something along the lines of "*** brake problem. Still safe to drive." The car is under warranty so I had it towed to Tacoma Land Rover. The brake situation was so dire that I sealed the key in an envelope, warning people there were no brakes. The contact owns a 2020 Land Rover Range Rover 3.0. The contact received notification of NTHSA Campaign Number: 26V248000 (Electrical system) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted but was not able to do repairs due to remedy not being provided as of yet by manufacturer The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. Upon having my tires balanced and aligned I was informed that my fuel tank is rusting out. I have included pictues below for reference, I have attempted to have the dealer and Land Rover replace the fuel tank but they refuse to do so even though there is a 6-year Corrosive Warranty in place.
