TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 LAND ROVER LR2. WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH, THE BRAKE AND ACCELERATOR PEDALS BECAME DIFFICULT TO DEPRESS. THE CONTACT PULLED THE VEHICLE OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC AND IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE VACUUM PUMP MALFUNCTIONED AND NEEDED REPLACEMENT. The contact owns a 2014 Land Rover LR2. The contact stated noticed an abnormal fuel odor coming from the rear of the vehicle. The contact noticed fuel leaking towards the bottom of the fuel tank. The vehicle was diagnosed with a defective fuel tank flange. The contact referenced NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V635000 (Fuel System, Gasoline) however, the VIN was not included. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 94,800.
