Several unknown warning lights were illuminated. The contact was unable to turn off the vehicle, which required the contact to wait until the battery was drained. The contact owns a 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4XE. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed, the check engine warning light illuminated. The accelerator pedal was depressed, but the vehicle failed to accelerate as intended, hesitated and jerked. The vehicle was taken to the dealer however, the failure could not be duplicated. Good afternoon. My name is [XXX] . On [XXX], I signed a two year lease on a new 2024 Jeep Wrangler Sahara at Herb Chambers Jeep of Danvers, MA . Two days later on [XXX], the new Wrangler I had only driven 30 miles, stalled at a red light- less than a quarter of a mile from a railroad crossing. The vehicle was undriveable, was not able to be started let alone shifted into neutral. What was seemingly just an inconvenience at the time has raised some major safety concerns as a Jeep driver. When driving through the a parking lot on my way to work, my brand new Wrangler with just over 1000 miles stalled/stopped running and lost power steering and wouldn’t restart for about 10 mins. I got a bunch of error messages but I can’t remember them all but one was about servicing the charging station (it wasn’t plugged in) and I had a check engine light stay on after I finally got it to start. Car lost power - Said to press the brake and start button to start car. Was able to cost to the side of the highway on a mountain overpass. Once I was at the side of the road Service Charging System Error was on and I had no power. The vehicle would not start. After a couple of minutes, the vehicle started. The check engine light is on now.

On a hybrid mode, drive gear at less than 10mph to park the vehicle. No engine warning lights, and no unusual signs. The car suddenly accelerated as I hit the brakes. At the time of the acceleration, the gasoline engine immediately came on and vehicle only came to stop as I stomped on the brakes for the second time, causing property damage.

On 10/21/2023 I went to turn on my car and shift it to drive when the shifter was unable to move. The shifter was stuck in park and could not move out of any other gear. Check engine light and power steering light were on. Additionally the following message showed up on the dash - "Service Electronic Stability" Several tow truckers were called and the vehicle was unable to be put into neutral even after attempting to use the override cable in the shifter. I was driving when the car malfunctioned and gave a transmission error. It said to put the car on park and once I did, it said to have the transmission looked at. I was unable to cost to the side of the road, and my vehicle was in the middle of a busy street. The car lost power, and was unable to come back on, even though some parts were lit up. Once road service arrived, they charged the car and the car started and I was able to park it to have it towed.

JEEP 2024 Wrangler 4XE HYBRID EXPLODED VIN# [XXX] On [XXX], just before [XXX], our 2024 hybrid vehicle began emitting smoke while parked in our attached garage. Thankfully, our smoke alarm alerted us - my wife discovered it was coming from the garage and immediately called 911. Police arrived within minutes and were able to push the car out of the garage.
