Owner report 11539027 · 2023-08-16 (August 16, 2023)

Battery is not keeping power and vehicle stalled out while going 70 miles and vehicle wouldn’t power on for more than 10 mins even after charging battery. I am getting 12.0V while going 75 miles and i get 14.0 when I am stopped and parked. Had to have vehicle towed to dealership and they said they couldn’t recreate the issue. The dealer didn’t put my engine cover back and my vehicle is still not producing enough power.

Owner report 11560388 · 2023-12-15 (December 15, 2023)

- Due to the use of soy-based wire insulation, a rodents nest was formed and found in the engine compartment. Wires were severely damaged from being chewed. The Electrical system failed with multiple open circuits. Evidently, the car has a design flaw. - Open circuits (exposed wires) pose a risk to the vehicle due to fire. Engine performance was rough due to the loss of some of the engine controls and the TIPM (Totally Integrated Power Module). - Vehicle was inspected by a dealer of the OEM - There was a check engine light, and loss of contro…

Owner report 11531849 · 2023-07-12 (July 12, 2023)

Vehicle sets automatic brake when backing up. The back up camera turns red as if something was blocking when nothing is there. When attempting to go in reverse the car kept stoping on its own and putting the emergency break on. It took multiple attempts to get out of the parking lot and has happened more than once.

Owner report 11528876 · 2023-06-26 (June 26, 2023)

After starting the vehicle, I placed it in reverse and warning light came on - steering unavailable, lane change and collision warning unavailable. I was not able to steer the vehicle. Shut engine off several times and had the same problem. Later in the day, I started the vehicle with no problems. Called the dealer and they said that there was nothing they could do until it happens to them.

Owner report 11538841 · 2023-08-16 (August 16, 2023)

Power steering and other warning lights, including blind spot monitoring and lane assist, came on in a Grand Cherokee. I was unable to move the vehicle - the power steering was locked. Fortunately, it wasn’t on the road, but the driver was stranded until able to get the vehicle started eventually. The issue with the power steering is concerning, especially while driving. The engine light has remained on since.

Owner report 11579080 · 2024-03-23 (March 23, 2024)

The brake force will jump suddenly and fall back when the brake pedal is even maintained at a constant level while the vehicle is being braked to a stop or decelerating. This malfunctioning will lead to imprecise control of the distance to the front vehicle. Engine Wobbling when it is fully stopped with "D" gear engaged, especially when the transmission temperature comes up after a few hours of driving. It can be clearly felt that the entire vehicle is bouncing with the engine. Engine misfires when crawling after a cold start. Engine speed …

Owner report 11655720 · 2025-04-20 (April 20, 2025)

I've had issues with this jeep grand cherokee 4xe randomly shutting down on the highway at speeds between 65-75 mph. The service engine and transmission lights come on and the vehicle itself dies out and will power on but will not start for about 10-15 minutes afterwards. This is the fourth time I've had the issue and the dealership can not pin point a reason/fix for the car suddenly stopping. This last time the power steering went out as well these issues have almost caused several accidents . The dealership just clears the codes after saying…
